The knobbly-kneed, plain looking eleven year old Boy Who Lived has vanished. Perhaps the most influential student in Gryffindor House has turned his back upon school, wandering, seeking, and questioning his own convictions. Finally standing 5'7" tall, the insomnia-induced dark bruises under his eyes are no longer hidden by his characteristic round glasses, as Harry Potter prefers to prowl the streets in relative anonimity - erasing as many traces of the little saviour of the Light as he can.

Yet, Harry is no weakling. His headstrongness is what remains of the Boy Who Lived, and the thirst to prove himself. For the last year, Harry takes up his wand to track down Lord Voldemort - and Severus Snape, his old Potions professor, who, Harry believes, ruthlessly betrayed and murdered his very mentor, Albus Dumbledore. How many Horcruxes are down, and how much is he part of one himself?

Over the last year, alliances and relationships have formed and broken, and Harry's stance is as unknown as it never was before. His faith in the Light, his innate talent for Dark magic and the seduction to start afresh are simultaneously vying for his attention, as his friends and ex-lovers attempt to steer him into a deliberate path.

Will Harry make his final alliance in the Second War to serve a greater purpose for the common good, or will he choose for his own insecurity and source of personal happiness: his ability to love?
